Membership Fees
2026 membership fee is £140 and there is a joining fee of £25 but this has been waived for 2026. Membership commences from the 1st January. After the end of May there is a sliding scale for subscriptions, see guidance notes for details.
Our social fee (non playing members) is £10..
All members agree when and where they can, to assist with the running of the Club by providing occasional help on the green, cleaning the pavilion, preparing teas, serving at the bar or assisting the Centre team with maintaining the Clubhouse.

Local Rules
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the gate from the car park or in the Clubhouse.
During training you will learn the rules for the order of play and the etiquette. The following are the main points. Most games that you will take part in will be "Triples" (teams of 3 players each having 3 bowls).

During training you will learn the rules for the order of play and the etiquette. The following are the main points. Most games that you will take part in will be "Triples" (teams of 3 players each having 3 bowls).
- The first player or "lead" positions the mat, delivers the jack, shows the “skip" how to centre the jack, and delivers his or her bowls alternating with the opposing lead, followed by the No.2 player.
- The No.2 player assists the "skip" and agrees the "count" or score with the opposing No.2, measuring distances where necessary.
- The final player or "skip" directs the game and plays last.

Dress Code
The current dress code for roll ups is smart casual. For matches, it is dependent on the day and the competition, generally though midweek, greys below the waist and club shirt or white above and weekends white below the waist.
Training.
A four week training course, run in collaboration with Cranleigh and District U3A, is held on Monday afternoons early in the outdoor season. Alternatively, individual training can be arranged. Special sessions for Short Mat players wishing to play outdoor bowls are held at the start of each outdoor season.
A small fee is charged for the U3A course, otherwise all training is free.
