Ewhurst Short Mat Leagues
The following are the leagues in which Ewhurst teams are involved. SHAB and Wey Valley league positions can be viewed on the Surrey Short Mat website.
Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire (SHAB) Leagues

SHAB Knockout |
There are 2 divisions of SHAB leagues this season. Success of the teams depends on which division they are in as there is promotion and relegation at the end of each season. Clubs play each other, home and away with 2 rinks per team. A point is awarded for each winning rink and 2 points awarded to the team with the best overall shot difference. .

Each team is the SHAB league is entered into the knockout cup, the finals of which are held towards the end of the season with the Semi's held in the morning, and the Finals held after lunch.
Ewhurst hosted this fixture on the 23rd March, and it is fair to say this was a resounding success with excellent bowling from some of the best players in Surrey, and we have had some very complimentary emails from the participating clubs. .. |
Wey Valley Monday Evening
Friendly League (previously Lightwater) (Rita Newington) Ewhurst will be playing in this League next season. Jacki MacKenzie will be running this League for us. |
Wey Valley Woking Borough League.
(Bill Hames) Ewhurst have a team in this Wednesday evening league based on experienced players but open to any selected club member. Elaine Philipson runs this League for us. |
Wey Valley Charity League
(Thursday afternoons) (Nigel Goss) Ewhurst have a team in this League and any member can play, although only one County player can be used and only in position two on the mat. Margaret Weeden runs this League for us. |

A 2 bowl triples league for experienced bowlers, held on Monday evenings start time 7:00pm.
